Do you live or work in Hull but have strong connections to the coast?
Join our friendly interactive workshop to:
Explore the unique challenges and opportunities facing the East Coast and feed into discussions on action for UK coastal resilience
Join staff from the University of Hull in this workshop to creatively explore the unique challenges and opportunities facing our coastal communities.
Throughout the session we hope to bring together people who live, work or visit the coast, and provide an opportunity to:
- Share stories of your experiences of the East Coast in our interactive and creative mapping exercise
- Help shape strategies to address the environmental and social challenges that coastal regions and communities encounter today.
By bringing people together, we aim to start conversations, share knowledge, and work together on strategies to address current and future coastal challenges.
This workshop is free and open to everyone interested in exploring experiences of living, working, visiting and enjoying the coast. We encourage you to register in advance to secure your spot.
The workshop will be facilitated by staff from the University of Hull who are working with the Coast-R Network. This is a new national network, working to understand and provide a blueprint for action on issues facing the UK coast.
